Our office may be closed, but we’re still able to work remotely.

While we can’t schedule in-person appointments at present, we can offer secure videoconferencing or telephone calls for counselling, assessment intake interviews and consultations. We are able to start the psychoeducational assessment process remotely with questionnaires and form completion via our secure platform. In this way, when we are able to open the office and schedule in-person appointments, as mandated by the Province, we aim to reduce the time spent during in-person be able to produce results sooner than otherwise since we have partially completed the process already. We are covering the phones and e-mail while our office is closed, please reach out to us, we aim to respond as soon as possible. We appreciate your patience during this time. Please be assured that we are committed to continuing to provide the highest level of psychoeducational assessment and psychological support here at NEAC.

NEAC was founded in 1995 by an experienced group of professionals. After many years of working with children in various settings, Barbara R. Anderson, R.N., B.A., and Susan D’Souza, M.A., Dip.C.S., wanted to make quality services available to children, families, institutions, and organizations in the Greater Toronto and surrounding areas.

In 1998, NEAC expanded its services to post-secondary students in collaboration with disability centres of post-secondary education institutions. NEAC accepts referrals from colleges and universities, for eg. University of Toronto at Mississauga, Ryerson University, Centennial College, George Brown College and Sheridan College.
