We also offer treatment services to individuals, families and couples, which include individual and family therapy, marital therapy and behaviour management. Tutoring services are available as well.
NEAC was founded in 1995 by an experienced group of professionals. After many years of working with children in various settings, Barbara R. Anderson, R.N., B.A., and Susan D’Souza, M.A., Dip.C.S., wanted to make quality services available to children, families, institutions, and organizations in the Greater Toronto and surrounding areas.
In 1998, NEAC expanded its services to post-secondary students in collaboration with disability centres of post-secondary education institutions. NEAC accepts referrals from colleges and universities, for eg. University of Toronto at Mississauga, Ryerson University, Centennial College, George Brown College and Sheridan College.
The Neurodevelopmental & Educational Assessment Centre has partnered with the Learning Disabilities Associations of Mississauga and North Peel, in helping raise awareness of learning and psychological disabilities. NEAC delivers educational seminars for corporations, schools, and non-profit organizations.
